Rooney set to miss Liverpool clash due to injury setback

Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney will be out for up two weeks after suffering injury setback at the training session.

Rooney was expected to be out of contention for about two weeks after picking up knee ligament injury at the training last week. However it looks like he is set to miss FA Cup third-round clash against West Ham and Premier League match against Liverpool on January 13.

The good news for Man Utd fans is that Phil Jones will be fit for the encounter against West Ham, while Nani returns to light training on Friday.
