Sagna rejected Arsenal contract offer

According to The Telegraph Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has rejected Arsenal contract offer with the length of the deal proving to be the stumbling block.

The Gunners are prepared to offer the 29 year-old France international one-year contract extension, while Sagna insists on a longer contract. Should Arsenal be unable to negotiate a new deal with their defender, he may leave the club next year.
