Serie A results: Lazio 0-2 Juventus

Juve edge closer to their second Serie A title in a row with a deserved 2-0 win over Lazio at Stadio Olimpico.

The Bianconeri commanded possession in the opening half and converted their advantage into two well taken goals within 28 minutes. The referee awarded the penalty in the 8th minute of the game, as Lorik Cana brought down Vucinic in the penalty area. Vidal kept cool head to score from the penalty spot. The Chilean added his second of the game, slipping the ball past Marchetti in the 28 minute. Despite Juve being carved open numerous times, Lazio attackers’ profligacy meant they were not able to convert the chances into goals. Klose and Kozak missed several golden opportunities of pulling one back.

The victory allowed the Old Lady open 11-point lead at the top of the table with six games to go.
