Sevilla’s Navas flattered by Man City link

Sevilla winger Jesus Navas admitted he is excited with the speculation Manchester City are prepared to bid for him in summer.

The 27-year-old Spaniard has spent his entire career at Sevilla, the club which helped him to develop into a quality player and become World Cup and European championship winner.

And yet according to the recent transfer talks Navas is considering his options as feels he should leave to further his career. Manchester City, who are looking to refresh their squad in summer, are considered as the most likely candidates to secure winger’s services.

Navas refused to rule out the possibility of leaving Sevilla, stating: “I am prepared for anything. I want to keep progressing and pushing for titles because I am used to such nice things, but I am happy here. City’s interest? I would be excited to be there and I can dream, but we’ll wait until the end of the season and look at the summer to see what happens.”
