Silvio Berlusconi: ‘Yes, I have sold Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to PSG’

Reports on Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva move to PSG were confirmed by the president of Milan Silvio Berlusconi.

The owner of the Italian club said in the interview to the Italian press that he decided to sell two players and in that way to save up to 150 million euros. Even though the final agreement is not yet reached the sources in Milan inform that the fee for a striker and a defender will be around €65m.

Ibrahimovic has been the major star in last year’s Milan squad scoring 28 goals in the 2011/2012 season. Thiago Silva was chased by Barcelona yet the price of the Brazilian player is now unaffordable for the Spanish club.The agents of the players claim that talks between the teams are ongoing and the deal has not been completed.

The French club is one of the most active sides on the transfer market in Europe. PSG has already signed the striker Ezequiel Lavezzi from Napoli for £24m.
