Swansea slap £10 m price tag on Williams

Swansea are reluctant to let their skipper Ashley Williams go for anything less than £10 million.

The recent speculations have linked the 28-year-old player with a move to host of premier League clubs including Liverpool and Arsenal. Williams enjoyed an impressive season under Laudrup, having led his side to a Capital One Cup triumph and comfortable mid-table finish. However all the interested sides will have to make an eight-figure bid to be allowed to enter the negotiations with the player.

It is to be recalled that Williams has just recently signed a new deal that will keep him at the Liberty Stadium for at least two years.
