Totti achieves a milestone

Roma captain scores his 225th goal in Serie A.

Francesco Totti reached the joint second place in all-time top scorers list, netting his 225th Serie A goal on Sunday. The forward fired home from a penalty spot in the fixture against Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico that his team won 3-1.

The striker claimed after the match that the goal was “a sign of my love for the Roma  jersey.”

“I wanted this goal at all costs and I managed to get it in front of my people,” underlined the player who reached Gunnar Nordahl on 225 top flight strikes.
