Toulouse Capoue wants to move to a bigger club

Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue feels he needs to move to a bigger club if he is to further his career.

The 24-year-old France international came through the ranks of Toulouse, before signing his first senior contract. He made in excess of 150 outings since making his debut back in 2008. Now he feels it is time to leave the club in the wake of interest from Premier League clubs Tottenham, Arsenal as well as Serie A giants Milan and French moneybags PSG. Meanwhile Toulouse boss Alain Casanova hopes to retain his talented player at the club.

Capoue said: “If he wants to keep me, that is good. That says that he counts on me, that he is happy with me. But it is football. I feel it is the moment to leave, to play in big competitions.”
