UEFA can help Rangers to reduce debt
Rangers chief executive Charles Green claims that he started talks with UEFA on helping to reduce the club’s debts.
Last week the Scottish Football League voted for Rangers to start the new season in Third Division also being forced to accept a transfer embargo.
Charles Green hopes he will settle the debts of the team to European clubs that worth up to £3 million. The chairman admits that Rangers should face responsibilities yet remains hopeful negotiations will end positively and he does not want the debts to be waived.
Rangers was reformed as a new company after creditors failed to strike a deal with the club’s owners.
