Vasco Dede confirms Cruzeiro interest

In-demand Vasco de Gama centre-back Dede confirmed Cruzeiro have made an official offer for him, however he is not sure whether he leaves the club in the near future.

The 24-year-old player, who won four international caps for Brazil national team, has been lined with a move to a host of top European clubs, including Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, Milan and PSG. However Cruzeiro is looking to try and steal the player from under their noses.

The Brazilian side has offered a £3.42 million initial offer for 45% of Dede’s rights. However the offer has been rejected, with Vasco demanding at least £4.23 million. Dede himself remains coy on the potential move. He said: “It’s concrete, there is an offer from Cruzeiro. But I don’t know yet if I’ll leave Vasco or not.”
