Vilanova pardoned Mourinho

Vilanova pardoned Mourinho

At the press-conference in Barcelona the manager of the club Tito Vilanova said eye-poke was in the past.

New Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova claimed he did not have bad relationship with Mourinho insisting he had no grudge against the Portuguese manager. Despite a small brawl at last year’s Supercopa when Mourinho poked Pep Guardiola’s assistant in the eye, Vilanova said that it was tiring for him to talk about the incident that had happened so long ago. The coach decided to pardon Mourinho.

New Barcelona coach stated that the side did not need a new forward as they already had many options especially in the reserve team. One player Vilanova wanted to see in the squad was Javi Martinez but only the club would decide whether to sign him or not.

The trainer also stated that Messi was doing well in the preparation for the forthcoming season training with the first-team.
