Bayern official denies rumours on Lewandowski transfer.

The CEO of the Munich-based side Karl-Heinz Rummenigge denied speculations that his team are chasing Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski. Poland international is expected to leave Borussia this summer with top European clubs linked with the player.

“Bayern are not planning to hold negotiations with Borussia Dortmund over the transfer of Lewandowski,” underlined Bayern boss in an interview to the German press.

The news came as a huge relief for BVB chief Hans-Joachim Watzke who revealed that the side “also don’t want to hear nothing from Bayern.”

It was reported earlier that Lewandowski is reluctant to pen a new deal with the running German champions.
