West Ham Allardyce: no fears for future

West Ham Allardyce: no fears for future

Sky Sports states West Ham boss Sam Allardyce stays calm on his future and is ready to discuss the extension of his contract at the end of the season when the Premier League safety is guaranteed.

West Ham co-chairman David Gold has said earlier this week that he is disappointed with the recent run of poor result (the Hummers have won just two out of their 12 games and lie on the 12th place, sixth points above the relegation zone). Gold revealed he is reluctant to offer ‘Big Sam’ new deal until the end of the season with Allardyce’s contract is due to expire in summer.

Allardyce, who led the Hummers to Premier League promotion last season, said there is not concerned with his position at the club. “There’s no problem. We’ll talk once our Prem status is secure. Some owners pull the trigger early but it is not like that here.”
