West Ham, Cardiff and Hull target Reading’s Hunt

West Ham, Cardiff and Hull are closely monitoring the situation with Reading’s striker Noel Hunt.

The 30-year-old forward’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, which means he will be available for free this summer. With Reading suffering agony of relegation this season, the player is unlikely to extend his deal.

Thee abovementioned sides are planning to rebuild their respective attacking lines and the signing of the experiences forward could be the stepping stone of their transfer campaign this season. West Ham manager Sam Allardyce revealed he is looking to dig the transfer market in summer in search of a new forward, while newly promoted Cardiff are interested in signing several quality players in the weak position to compete with the Premier League clubs next season.

Hunt has made 24 appearances, scoring 6 goals and setting up another 2.
