West Ham have signed Wellington Paulista on loan
West Ham have confirmed the signing of the Brazilian forward Wellington Paulista from Cruzeiro on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy him in future.
The 28-year-old striker has netted 19 goals for his club this season. This move means that the Hummers’ coach Sam Allardyce will field upgraded attacking force in the second half of the season. On-loan striker Andy Carolls is still recovering from his injury and is expected to be back in action by the end of January.
Big Sam has already sealed loan deal for Arsenal’s Marouane Chamakh and signed West Ham apprentice Joe Cole on a free transfer.
