West Ham target Real Betis Adrian San Miguel

West Ham are stepping up their interest in Real Betis goalkeeper Adrian San Miguel who is available on a free transfer.

The highly-rated 26-year-old Spanish is considered as an excellent addition to the squad by West Ham boss Sam Allardyce, who is looking to boost the competition for the Hammers number one veteran Jussi Jaaskelainen.

Adrian San Miguel is expected to arrive at Boleyn ground for a medical and sign a three-year contract, should he pass the test successfully.

The goalkeeper has made 32 appearances for his former side and could become a replacement to ageing Jaaskelainen.
