Willian stays at Shakhtar

The gifted playmaker will not move to Chelsea.

Shakhtar Donetsk manager Mircea Lucescu refused to sell the Brazilian playmaker Willian. Despite the bid worth £26 million that was offered by the English club, Shakhatar coach did not give the go-ahead for the transfer.

Lucescu claimed that Willian was a great player and the huge investment of the team. He added that the midfielder would leave only when the right price is offered and that the fee suggested by the Blues was not the current value.

Previously Chelsea spent £32 million on Eden Hazard from Lille and held talks over possible move of Oscar from Internacional.
