Wilshere in talks over new contract

Mirror states that Arsenal ace Jack Wilshere opened negotiations with his club as regards his contract renewal.

Wilshere, 20, has two and half years on his current £50,000p/w deal, but the club is eager to move early to tie down the England’s best midfield prospect for another five years. The new deal will make Wilshere one of the club’s highest earning players.

Jack Wilshere has been out of football for about 17 months due to the ankle injury. He made just 3 first’team appearances this season since returning to fitness.
