Zenit target Skrtel

Daily Mail informs Zenit are hot on the trail of Liverpool centre back Martin Skrtel.

With Russian transfer window still open, the St. Petersburg free-spending club is ready to splash the cash on the 28-year-old Slovakia international. The Reds are believed to be reluctant to part ways with their defender; however the offer in the region of £13 million could be too tempting to resist.

Skrtel played for Zenit more than three years, before joining the Reds in 2008.
