Zola wants to take charge of Chelsea

Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola revealed that he wants to become Chelsea coach in the near future.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is likely to replace the unpopular interim Rafa Benitez with another coach in summer. Although Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola are considered prime targets, both coaches are unlikely to take over The Blues due to various reasons.

46 year-old Zola has been unveiled as Watford coach in 2012, following his brief spell with West Ham. The former Italy international said it would be a ‘dream job’ to take charge of The Blues. “I have been dreaming of becoming a good manager. One who can lead a team like Chelsea,” he said. “I work really hard for it. I do not know if I will. I think I have the abilities but I do not think I am good enough yet”.
