Abel Camará is a forward of Beira-Mar. He was born on 6 January 1990 in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau.
In 2006 Camará began his youth career at the Oeiras academy where he was trained for two years. During this period the young forward was a member of two youth teams of the academy and took part in junior championships in Bissau. In 2008 Camará caught the eye of the Belenenses academy. During some time it was checked if he was ready to play on a higher level. Having passed all the fitness tests successfully he joined the U-19 team where he achieved the level necessary to graduate to the main squad.
In the summer 2009 the footballer penned a contract with Belenenses. In the same year Camará was sent on loan to Estrela Amadora where he spent one season from the autumn 2009 to the summer 2010. During his one-year spell with the temporary team he featured in 28 games both getting into the starting eleven and making substitute appearances.
In the summer 2010 Camará returned to Belenenses for which he started to play from the beginning of the 2010/2011 season. During this time he kicked 8 goals in 38 matches.
In 2012 Camará moved to Beira-Mar where he plays successfully until now.
In 2010 Abel Camará was capped once for the Guinea-Bissau national side. Since 2011 he has started to play for the Portugal U-21 football team.
