Adriano Claro is a FC Barcelona defender/midfielder. He was born on October 26, 1984 in Curitiba, Brazil.
Adriano began his professional career in 2002 after signing his first ever professional contract with Coritiba – he has played for the club’s academy for many years. In 2002-2004, the Brazilian played 81 matches and scored 2 goals for the club.
In 2005, Adriano was offered to join Sevilla FC. The player accepted the offer having signed a 4.5-year professional contract. Throughout the seasons he played for the club he became one of the key midfielders with the total of 157 matches and 11 goals scored.
In 2010, Adriano got his next offer – from FC Barcelona. He was not meant to become a key player but he was needed as a bench footballer who should be prepared to substitute this or that player at all events. Adriano Claro accepted the club’s offer having signed a long-term contract according to which he plays for the club at the moment. The Brazilian’s transfer to the Catalan club totaled 4 mln euros.
In 2003, Adriano was included in the Brail national U-23 team roster. And since 2003 he has appeared in 13 matches for the Brazil national team.
