Adrien Sébastien Perruchet Silva is a footballer who plays for Sporting in the Primeira Liga. He was born on 15 March 1989 in Angoulême, France.
In 1994 Adrien started trying his hand at football at the academy of Bordeaux, where he spent six years before moving to Portugal. In 2000, he joined ARC Paçô, but he didn’t settle there for longer than two years. In 2002, he was noticed by Sporting CP and was drafted into their academy, where he spent the last five years of his youth career.
In 2007, Silva signed his first pro contract with Portuguese giants and became a member of the first team. He appeared sporadically for the first eleven without becoming the head coach’s first choice.
In the summer 2010, Adrien was loaned out to Maccabi Haifa, where he made only 6 appearances. In the summer 2011, he was sent on a year-long loan to Académica. The season with the temporary team turned to be very fortunate for the footballer. He managed to clinch into the main team, making 34 appearances and scoring five goals. In 2012, Silva was welcomed back to his parent club, where he continued to make successful appearances.
Since 2004 until 2010, Adrien made 34 appearances and scored two goals for the Portugal youth national team at U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-21 levels.
