A Spanish footballer Alberto Aguilar Leiva plays as a midfielder for Córdoba CF. Alberto was born on 12 July 1984 in Benamejí, Córdoba.
Aguilar went from the youth ranks of Málaga, where his junior career passed. In 2003, the midfielder got his first chance on the club’s senior squad. The player was selected for the B side. He spent two seasons with the reserves making 52 appearances and netting four goals. Alberto debuted for the main team in 2003, but made no further appearances.
In 2005, after passing all the tests, Aguilar signed for Getafe. He spent two years at the club making occasional appearances both as a member of the first team and as a sub. Altogether, the footballer featured in 32 matches for the squad.
In 2008, his contract was bought out by Granada 74. The spell at the club turned to be very short but productive. Alberto managed to appear 20 times and once scored the goal. In the summer 2008, a move to Albacete happened. Aguilar penned a two-year contract and became the club’s official member. The head coach gave him enough playing time and the midfielder displayed good results. Altogether, he racked up three balls in 60 games. In the summer 2010, the footballer joined Córdoba as a free agent. The first two seasons at the club were lined with 60 appearances made.
