Aleksandar Dragović. Biography

Aleksandar Dragović is an Austrian football player, born in 1991 in Vienna. He came through the youth system of Austria Wien, in 2007 he graduated and was immediately promoted to B-team and after a season there he joined the first team.

In February 2011 Dragović joined FC Basel and made his first appearance for them in a 3-0 win over FC St. Gallen. He was a part of FC Basel winning Swiss Super League in 2011 and 2012; in 2012 they won Swiss Cup and Uhrencup in 2011.

In 2013 the player was lured away to Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kyiv.

Born to Serbian parents, he wasn’t called up to play for Serbia and was a part of the Austria U-16, U-17, and U-19 teams. His senior squad debut came on 6 June 2009.
