Alex Schalk is a striker of NAC Breda. He was born on 7 August 1992 in Breda, Netherlands.
Alex’s career took off in Beek Vorruit, from where the footballer moved to NAC Breda. Schalk cruised through several youth levels and earned the nickname of Der Bomber of Breda due to his wonderful scoring flair, which was often compared to Gerd Müller’s one.
On 1 May 2011, the player made his senior début in the 1-2 loss to Heracles Almelo, where he came on as a substitute for Ömer Bayram in the 85th minute. On 9 August 2011, Alex penned a two-year contract with the club and netted six goals in 33 games for NAC as of November 2012.
