Alyaksandr Yurevich is a defender, born on 8 August 1979 in Lida, Belarus.

Alyaksandr has spent most of his youth career at local Obuvshchik. He made his professional debut for Lida in 1995. By 2000 he made a total of 112 appearances and scored 4 goals for the club.

In 1999 the talented back was invited to the top flight Shakhtyor Soligorsk. Unfortunately for Alyaksandr he failed to win the championship together with The Miners, finishing as runner-up four times. For 7 years at the Soligorsk club Yurevich scored 10 goals in 198 league appearances.

In the 2007/08 season Alyaksandr played for Karpaty Lviv. In 2008 one of the best defenders in the country was invited to FC BATE and became the 6-times national champion.

Alyaksandr Yurevich played for Belarus U18 and Belarus U21, totaling 19 caps and 1 goal. He debuted for the national team in 2006 in a match against Greece.
