Andrea Coda is center back of Udinese. He was born on 25 April 1985 in Massa, Italy.
Andrea’s youth career started at Lucchese football academy. After many years of hard training at Lucchese Andrea signed for more prestigious Empoli and studied there until 2004.
In 2004 Coda signed his first professional contract with Empoli and was made a regular right away. Since the 2004/05 season Andrea became a key player at Empoli and appeared in practically every match of the club. During 2 seasons at Empoli Andrea Coda made 76 appearances and scored 1 goal.
In 2006 Andrea was offered to join the first team of Serie A side Udinese. In the summer of 2006 Coda officially joined Udinese. Since then he regularly started Udinese matches excluding idle periods when he was injured. In 2013 the experienced back featured for Parma and in the season 2013/2014 played for Livorno.
From 2005 to 2007 Andrea played for Italy U-21 totaling 5 caps. In 2008 Andrea was capped 9 times for Olympic Italy.
