Andrey Shcharbakow is a goalkeeper of BATE Borisov playing on loan at FC Vitebsk. He was born on 31 January 1991 in Vitebsk, Belarus.
The goalkeeper is a graduate of Vitebsk local club Komsomolets sports school. In 2008 Andrey was invited to play for FC Vitebsk.
At Vitebsk Shcharbakow played only for the reserves. In 2011 he received an unexpected invitation from BATE. At Borisov club Andrey was third goalkeeper after Hutar and Harbunow. Nevertheless, together with the club he won two Belarusian championships and the Supercup. In 2013 the goalie was loaned to FC Vitebsk.
Shcharbakow was part of 2012 Belarus Olympic team, even though he spent all three games sitting on the bench, again losing to Alexander Hutar.
From 2010 to 2012 Andrey Shcharbakow played for Belarus U-21.
