A Spanish footballer Ángel Trujillo Canorea performs as a defender for UD Almería. Ángel was born on 8 September 1987 in Madrid.
Trujillo spent the last years of his junior career at the youth department of Guadalajara. The young footballer showed good tackling and marking ability, which are essential for good defender. During his youth career, Angel got his first performing experience and got ready to play professional football.
In 2006, Trujillo penned a pro contract with Guadalajara and his senior career began. He didn’t stay for long at the club. He made only few appearances for the team, but that turned to be enough for the scouts from Azuqueca to notice the young defender. In 2007, Angel joined the club, but in half a year he was bought out by Almeria. The defender was selected for Almeria B team.
Trujillo agreed to move to Almeria, as it could give him an opportunity to perform in the second division. He spent five years playing for the reserves. During that period he made numerous appearances both as a player of the starting XI and as a substitute player. In 2011, Angel got two chances on the club’s main team and during those matches he managed to impress the head coach. Before the start of the 2012/2013 season, the defender was promoted to the first team of Almeria. Trujillo racked up 10 goals in 169 matches for the club’s reserve squad.
