Ángelo Henríquez is a footballer from Chile, born in 1994 in Santiago. Currently he is under contract with Manchester United. Henríquez graduated from Universidad de Chile and made his professional start June 2011 in the Copa Chile match against Unión San Felipe, which was a 1-0 win. He was enlisted in the starting eleven for the 2012 season and in February netted his first goal in a 5-1 victory against Godoy Cruz. Shortly after that he scored two goals in a 4-1 won over Cobreloa. At the end of summer 2012 Henríquez completed a move to Manchester United, he began with their U-21 squad and on 2 January 2013 was sent on loan to Wigan Athletic. In the season 2013/2014 he played for Real Zaragoza.
Ángelo Henríquez is a Chilean international and represented the national team at U15, U17, U20, U23 and senior levels. He was a part of the squad competing in the 2009 South American Under-15 and the 2011 South American U-17 tournaments. In November 2012 he earned his first senior team cap, when he featured as a substitute in a 3-1 loss at Serbia.
