Änis Ben-Hatira is a footballer of Tunisian origin, born in 1988 in West Berlin, West Germany. He plays for Hertha BSC as a midfielder.
He spent his youth years in Reinickendorfer Füchse, Hertha BSC and Tennis Borussia Berlin. In 2006 Ben-Hatira joined Hamburger SV and began to play for the reserves. His Bundesliga debut was on 24 February 2007, which was a match against Eintracht Frankfurt.
In the summer of 2019 he was sent on loan to MSV Duisburg and after a season had a trial in West Ham United. Nevertheless he didn’t join them and returned to Hamburg. Ben-Hatira left them in the summer of 2011, signing for Hertha BSC.
He was a part of the Germany national U19 and U21 teams and then switched to play for Tunusia.
