Anthony Mounier. Biography

Anthony Mounier is a French midfielder currently playing for the top-flight side Montpellier. He was born on 27 September 1987 in Aubenas, France.

Anthony was formed in the youth ranks of Lyon in between 2002 and 2007. He made his professional debut for the club in a game against Toulouse in January 2008. On 24 January 2009, Mounier scored his first two goals for Lyon in a Coupe de France match 6-0 win over amateurs US Concarneau. As for the Ligue 1, he scored 2 goals in 20 matches during a two-year stint. In 2009, Mounier moved to OGC Nice. He shortly became a midfield fulcrum at the club and scored a total of 10 goals in 92 league matches for three seasons with the team. In June 2012, Mounier signed for Montpellier HSC and plays for the team today.
