Aqil Mammadov. Biography

Aqil Mammadov is an Azerbaijani goalkeeper who plays for FK Baku in the Azerbaijan Premier League. He was born on 1 May 1989 in Nakhchivan City, Azerbaijan.

Aqil embarked on his professional career with FK Baku in 2007 and plays for the club today. He was initially deployed as a backup keeper and in the 2012/13 season he made his Premier League debut in a match against Gabala. Mammadov also got the first taste of Europa League qualifiers that seasom.

Aqil Mammadov made his international debut for the Azerbaijan national team in a match against Albania in September 2009.
