A Spanish footballer Aritz López Garai plays as a central midfielder for Córdoba CF. Aritz was born on 6 November 1980 in Barakaldo, Biscay.
López began the junior career at the departments of such clubs as Indartsu and Athletic Bilbao. In 1999, after finishing the youth career, the midfielder signed for Baskonia and his professional career began. Aritz immediately established himself as a player of the main eleven and made starts at almost all the matches. The stint was lined with five goals scored in 68 games. In 2001, the player agreed on a temporary contract with Gernika. He appeared 32 times for the squad.
In 2002, a contract for a term of two years was penned with Conquense. The midfielder impressed the head coach with his skillful game and immediately became the first-choice player. He produced a solid performance during the spell racking up two goals in 103 matches. From 2005 to 2007, Arits defended the colors of Salamanca. The time spent at the club turned to be fortunate as well. He was the team’s anchor player. In total, the footballer made 73 appearances and netted four goals.
In 2007, Garai got a proposal from Castellón. He agreed on the deal and became the club’s official player. The following two seasons of his playing career were spent performing as the regular member of the first team. Aritz appeared 75 times and racked up four goals during the spell. In 2009, a two-year deal was finalized with Celta. The stint was lined with one goal netted in 78 games. In 2011, the goalkeeper was scouted by Córdoba CF. The first season at the club was finished with 39 appearances made.
