Armand Traoré is a back of QPR. He was born on 8 October 1989 in Paris, France.
In 1996 Armand’s youth career took off in the academy of Suresnes, where he stayed during three years before attracting the attention of more renowned Racing Paris. In 1999 the footballer passed a trial at the new club and was admitted to the youth system, where he spent five years. From 1999 till 2004, Traoré raised the level of his professionalism and got closer to the cherished graduation and the start of his senior career.
In 2004 the back moved to the south of France and joined the academy of Monaco. The footballer trained in the new academy for one year before leaving for England, where he was offered a place in the youth system of Arsenal. It took Armand another year to begin his pro career.
After penning a contract with ‘The Gunners’, Traoré came on the pitch only a couple of times before the management of the club sent him on loan to Portsmouth, where the footballer featured in 19 games and fired one goal during one season. In 2010, the back sealed a temporary season-long deal with Italian side Juventus.
In the summer 2011, Armand completed a move on permanent deal to Barclays Premier League side QPR. The footballer immediately got as much playing time as he had never got before. The back made over 25 appearances during one season, which helped him to clinch the place of a regular for the following year.
From 2007 till 2010, Traoré was capped nine times for the France national U-19 and U-21 teams. From 2011, the footballer took part in four games of the Senegal national squad.
