A Spanish footballer Baltasar Rigo Cifré performs as a central defender for CD Tenerife. Baltasar was born on 26 June 1985 in Campos, Balearic Islands.
Rigo’s junior career passed at the youth departments of CD Campos and Mallorca, where he got his first playing experience and got ready to perform on a senior level.
In 2004, the defender was selected for the B team of Mallorca, where he spent two years. He made only five appearances for the reserve and as a result didn’t get the promotion to the club’s first squad.
In 2006, Baltasar joined Huesca, where his career finally got a full-scale start. The player did his best to improve his game and to join the first eleven. The spell was lined with appearances made both as a member of the starting line-up and as a substitute player. Altogether, Rigo appeared 47 times and scored four goals.
In 2009, the defender moved to Almería. Before he became the member of the main team, Baltasar had defended the B team. The 2009/2010 season was lined with two goals netted in 24 games. In 2010, the footballer got his first opportunity on the first team of Almería, but very soon he was bought out by the former side Huesca. He spent the following season with the team, appearing eleven times.
In 2011, Rigo opted to join Girona FC from the Spanish second division. The 2010/2011 season was lined with one ball netted in 10 games. In 2012, the defender had a deal with Numancia and, in a year, he was scouted by Tenerife.
