Bernard Parker is a footballer from South Africa, born in 1986 in Boksburg, South Africa. Currently he is a part of Kaizer Chiefs playing as a forward.
Parker came through the youth ranks of School of Excellence and Mamelodi Sundowns. He began his professional playing career in 2004 at Hellenic FC, after changing its name the club is known as Thanda Royal Zulu. In 2009 he moved to Serbia, joining Red Star Belgrade but didn’t stay here for long because of the financial problems in the club. He signed for the Dutch Eredivisie side FC Twente in 2009. In the first half of the 2010/11 season Parker wasn’t given enough playing time and in January 2011 was loaned to Panserraikos FC. He returned to the Netherlands and shortly after that moved to South Africa, signing for Kaizer Chiefs, though he was noticed by two Swedish clubs Malmö FF and Helsingborgs IF.
Bernard Parker represented the South Africa national team at U23 level and since 2007 has been a part of the senior squad. His debut was made in 2007 in the match Malawi.
