Błażej Augustyn is a football player from Poland, born in 1988 in Strzelin. He spent his youth career at Strzelinianka Strzelin, Śląsk Wrocław, UKSSMS Łódź and in 2005 he moved to England, where he joined Bolton Wanderers. He made only one appearance for the senior team and in June left them for Legia Warsaw. Augustyn signed a four-year deal with Legia in August 2008 he was sent to Rimini Calcio. There he missed the major part of the season due to a knee injury, then returned to Legia Warsaw and shortly after that left Poland for Italy, signing for Catania.
Błażej Augustyn penned a four-year long deal with Calcio Catania in June 2009. His official debut was in the Coppa Italia match against Cremonese on 15 August 2009 and the first Serie A game he played was on 23 August. Between April 2010 and January 2011 Błażej Augustyn was kept aside due to a knee injury.
He was sent to Vicenza Calcio on a loan deal in August 2011 and in June 2012 he came back to Catania.
In the summer 2013 the Polish back signed a permanent contract with Gornik Zabrze.
On 6 February 2007 Augustyn played fir the Poland U19 team in the match against England. He was also capped for the U21 team.
