Boaz Myhill is a goalkeeper of West Bromwich Albion. He was born on 9 November 1982 in Modesto, United States.
Myhill’s career took off in 2001, when he became a player of Aston Villa after training in its academy for several years. Boaz spent half a year in the club and was sent on loan to Stoke City, where he did not stay for long, transferring to Bristol City on loan as well. The same year the keeper managed to complete a loan deal with Bradford City and made two appearances for the temporary club during two years.
In 2003 Myhill performed for Macclesfield Town and Stockport County, taking part in 17 matches for both teams. In the summer 2003, Boaz got an opportunity to settle in a certain place, Hull City, to be more precise, which offered him a long-term contract on permanent basis. After some time the goalkeeper clinched the place of a first-choice goalkeeper and made 257 appearances during seven years he played for the club.
In 2010 Myhill was welcomed into the main team of West Bromwich Albion, spent one season with the new team and took part in six games before penning a loan deal with Birmingham City, where he became a first-choice goalkeeper from the beginning of 2011/2012.
In 2002 Boaz made two appearances for the England national U-20 team, but later opted for playing in the Wales national squad, where he took part in ten matches.
