Bogdan Karyukin was born on August 20, 1985 in Barnaul, the Soviet Union. He currently plays as a goalkeeper for FC Kuban Krasnodar.
In 2002 Bogdan started his senior career at FC Metallurg-Kuzbass Novokuznetsk, where he primarily was not able to become a number-one keeper and was subsequently loaned first to FC Shakhtyor Prokopyevsk where he played 32 games in the 2003/04 season and then to FC Kuzbass-Dynamo Kemerovo amassing 29 appearances for a short spell at the temporary club. On returning to FC Metallurg-Kuzbass he finally cemented his place as a first-choice goalkeeper and made 92 appearances for the squad in between 2002 and 2008.
In 2009 Bogdan Karyukin signed for FC Kuban Krasnodar and on March 14, 2009 made his Russian Premier League debut, conceding three goals from FC Rubin Kazan.
