Bongani Zungu. Biography

Bongani Zungu is a South African midfielder born on 9 October 1992. He currently plays for Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premier Soccer League.

Bongani signed a contract with University of Pretoria in the summer 2012. He made his professional debut for the Tuks in a 1-0 win over Golden Arrows on 22 August 2012. He cut a brilliant figure making a splendid assist in a 5-1 victory over Ajax Cape Town in September. Zungu’s first goal was not long in coming. It was a consolation goal in a 1-3 defeat to Orlando Pirates in October. Zungu spent the entire 90 minutes on the pitch then.

In the summer 2013 he switched for Mamelodi Sundowns.
