A Brazilian footballer Carlos Rodrigues Corrêa acts as a midfielder for Palmeiras. Carlos was born on 29 December 1980 in Limeira.
In 1999, Rodrigues signed for São Bento, where he spent the following two years. In 2002, the footballer joined XV de Piracicaba. Whilst playing for the squad, Carlos was noticed by the scouts from Palmeiras. In 2003, the midfielder penned the contract with the Brazilian giant and entered the main squad. Very soon he became the team’s regular making 192 appearances and netting 15 goals.
Big clubs were in for the midfielder when the transfer window had opened. In 2006, Corrêa joined the Ukrainian top-flight club, Dynamo Kyiv. His debut for the first team took place in summer 2006. Carlos produced a good performance at the Ukrainian Super Cup becoming the constant of the team.
In 2009, the footballer spent a year-long loan at Atlético Mineiro. In 2010, a temporary deal was finalized with Flamengo. Rodrigues featured in 20 matches netting two times during the spell.
In 2012, it was announced that the player would become the official member of his former club Palmeiras. When the contract was signed, Carlos clinched into the first eleven and started to make frequent appearances as the team’s regular.
