Cedric Evina is a back, born on 16 November 1991 in Cameroon.
In 2000, Cedric’s youth career made a steady start in the academy of London side Arsenal. The footballer took part in several demonstration games and was put at the position of a back. Evina was developing his best defensive qualities from 2000 till 2010, and eventually managed to pay attention to every aspect of his performance, which gave him an opportunity to pen a professional contract with the club.
Right after putting pen to paper, Cedric went on a six-month loan to Oldham Athletic in search for playing practice. The footballer netted one goal in 12 fixtures for the temporary team and impressed the management. As a result, when Evina’s loan deal expired, Oldham lodged a bid for the back and secured his services on permanent basis. Cedric performed for the new club during the second half of the 2010/2011 season and was offered a move to Charlton Athletic. The terms of the footballer’s transfer were too tempting, and the management of Oldham sold him to ‘The Addicks’ in June 2011. However, Evina had to spend the 2011/2012 season sitting on the substitutes’ bench.
In 2014 Evina moved to Doncaster Rovers.
