Ceyhun Gülselam was born on December 25, 1987 in Munich, West Germany. The boy showed lively interest in football as early as at the age of 7. His first youth club where he stayed for 1 year was called Gartenstadt Trudering. From 1995 till 2003 the young footballer played for Bayern Munich and the following 4 years performed for SpVgg Unterhaching II.
The same club, SpVgg Unterhaching II, became the first one Ceyhun Gülselam played professionally for. Over the year he spent at the club, the player took part in 21 matches and made 5 goals. From 2008 till 2011 the footballer played for Trabzonspor, made 69 appearances and scored 6 times.
On June 11, 2011 Ceyhun Gülselam signed up with Galatasaray for three years. The number 6 footballer netted his first goal for the club in a match against his former teammates from Trabzonspor. In 2013 he went for a loan spell with Kayserispor. In the summer 2014 Gulselam moved to Hannover 96.
Ceyhun Gülselam’s international debut took place on March 26, 2008 in a game against the Belarus National football team.
