Cheick Fantamady Diarra is a Malian midfielder for Rennes. He was born on 11 February 1992 in Bamako, Mali.

Cheick spent his youth career with his hometown club Centre Salif Keita. In 2010, he signed his first professional contract with Stade Malien. In July 2011, Diarra moved to France where he signed for Stade Rennais. In 2013 the player was loaned to Istres, in 2014 - to Auxerre.

Cheick Diarra got his first international caps to the Mali national team in 2008.
