Christian Günter. Biography

Christian Günter is a German footballer born on 28 February 1993 in Villingen, Germany. He currently plays as a defender for Bundesliga side SC Freiburg.

Christian was formed in the youth ranks of Freiburg in between 2007 and 2012. In 2012, he was called into the reserve squad of the club and in the same season Günter made his first-team debut in a match against Greuther Fürth in December. He made his first appearance as a starter in a game against Borussia Dortmund in March 2013.
