A Spanish footballer Cristóbal Márquez Crespo plays as a midfielder for Karpaty Lviv. Cristóbal was born on 21 April 1984 in Madrid.
Márquez started his professional career at Leganés in 2004. His debut season for the club’s reserve team was lined with few appearances made. In the summer 2005, the midfielder was selected for the B squad of Levante. He penned a long-term contract with the club and joined the team. In January 2006, Cristóbal was loaned out by Conquense. He made 13 appearances for the temporary team. In the summer 2006, the footballer agreed on another loan at S.S. Reyes. The 2006/2007 season was lined with one goal scored in 30 matches.
In the summer 2008, Crespo was bought out by Villarreal. At first, the midfielder joined the B team, where he was used as a member of the starting eleven. The player made 75 appearances and netted 13 goals during the spell. In 2010, Cristóbal was promoted to the main team of Villarreal. He made only two appearances for the squad and was loaned out by Elche. In the summer 2011, the Spanish footballer moved to Ukraine, where he joined Karpaty Lviv. Hardly had he put pen to papers of the contract, when he a temporary deal was agreed with the known side Elche. Cristóbal made eight appearances and racked up 2 goals for the Spanish side. When the spell had come to an end, the midfielder returned to the parent club.
