Curtis Davies is a defender of Hull City. He was born on 15 March 1985 in Leytonstone, England.
In 2003, Curtis penned his first professional contract with Luton Town after two years in the academy of the club. Davies made 56 appearances and netted two goals for the team during two years.
In 2005, West Bromwich Albion secured the defender’s services on a long-term deal and gave him an opportunity to take part in several games at the beginning of the 2005/2006 season. Curtis became the pivot of the new club and fired two goals in 65 fixtures for ‘The Baggies’ till 2007, when Aston Villa decided to offer the footballer a season-long loan contract in order to see him in action. Davies lived up to the head coach’s expectations and was invited to the team on permanent basis. In 2008, the defender sealed a deal with ‘The Villans’ and found the net two times in 37 matches till 2010, when he was sent on loan to Leicester City for the 2010/2011 season.
In 2011, Curtis transferred to Birmingham City and became the anchor player of the new club. The footballer featured in 89 games and scored 11 goals for ‘Blues’ before joining Hull City, recently promoted to the Premier League in 2013.
From 2006 till 2007, Davies was capped two times for the England national U-21 squad.
