Damien Perquis. Biography

Damien Perquis was born in 1984 in Troyes, France. Currently he plays for Real Betis as a defender.

He is Troyes AC youth ranks graduate, who went on with the first team, playing in Ligue 2. In 2005, Perquis moved to AS Saint-Étienne signing a three-year contract but during two seasons he couldn’t prove himself a good player and for the 2007/08 season he was sent on loan to AS Saint-Étienne and then made his move permanent. Perquis played for the team up to 2012, when he moved to Spain to play for Real Betis.

Damien Perquis represents the Poland national team after obtaining Polish citizenship and passport in 2011. In September 2011, he made his debut in a 2-2 draw against Germany and scored his first goal in a 1-0 victory over Slovakia.
